Come Help plant trees at the Morse Creek Restoration Site

We are looking for good people to help us get some trees in the ground. It's fun work with a great payoff - you get to watch your trees grow and grow as the years go by. Please RSVP if you want to join us to get your boots dirty and make some new friends. See you out there! All ages welcome.

WHEN -- New Date: Friday February 18th 1pm-4pm
WHERE -- Meet at the site: Morse Creek by Port Angeles

Driving East from Port Angeles, turn right (towards the mountains) after Four Seasons Park/Cottonwood Lane. Look for signs, tent and cars.

Many thanks to Green Crow of PA for donating the trees to be planted!

Moving Rivers.....Restoring an Ecosystem

Project Manager, Kevin Long, looks back at the new channel filled with water.
Thanks Kevin for all the hard work and time you put in to make this project a success!

Lower Elwha S'Klallam and Jamestown S'Klallam tribal members and staff helped NOSC relocate fish to the new stream channel.

Proud netters of an adult pink salmon.

The first signs of success, adult steelhead occupying the new channel.
